Where the Creative Relationship Began.
Our relationship with Charis Jones began in 2019 with promotional flyer design for her personal branded events, including Grace Over Grind.
The early creative was vibrant, expressive, and full of personality, reflecting Charis's bold approach to entrepreneurship and the energy she brought to her audience.
What began with event marketing graphics expanded that same year into the design and development of her first personal brand website.
The website established a dedicated digital presence for Charis, separate from the Sassy Jones retail brand, providing a space to communicate her professional identity, events, and personal initiatives.
These early projects laid the foundation for a creative relationship that would continue evolving over the years.

The Webflow Redesign
In 2021, we introduced a new creative direction and redesigned the website on Webflow, giving Charis’s digital presence a refreshed visual identity and a new platform.

2024
The WordPress Reimagining
In 2024, Designs By Chimere led the creative direction and redevelopment of Charis's personal brand website, transitioning it back to WordPress.
The new website reflected an evolved brand presentation, supported by updated visual identity elements, professional photography, and collaborative content development.
We worked with Charis and her assistant to develop portions of the site's content strategy, while our agency directed the overall visual design and website experience.
Professional brand photography was provided by Charis from a separately commissioned photoshoot.
The resulting website brought the updated brand identity, content, and photography together into a cohesive digital presence aligned with her expanding professional interests.

As the founder of Sassy Jones continued expanding her professional interests and personal brand initiatives, the opportunity emerged to create an identity that reflected her presence beyond her established retail business.
Designs By Chimere developed an entirely new personal brand logo and supporting visual direction, documented through updated brand guidelines.
The objective was to establish a cohesive identity that could support her website and other personal brand communications as her opportunities continued to evolve.
The new branding and website creative direction worked together to present a more unified personal brand experience, while maintaining the individuality and personality associated with Charis.

Grace Over Grind has been part of our creative relationship with Charis Jones since the early years of our partnership.
What began as a personal branded event experience continued evolving into a larger initiative focused on entrepreneurship and business education.
In 2022, Designs By Chimere developed the Grace Over Grind logo for Charis's VIP Day experience, creating a recognizable visual identity for the program.
By 2025, Grace Over Grind had evolved into a six-month business cohort, reflecting the continued development of Charis's entrepreneurial education platform.
Our creative work also included digital experiences supporting the initiative, including a program sales page, waitlist page, and application form.
These assets helped communicate the program opportunity and provided pathways for prospective participants to express interest and apply.
The project illustrates how creative assets developed for an earlier stage of a founder's vision can remain part of a program as it evolves.
